Newsletter- My newsletter entry for the Speech Communications Newsletter pertained to the Graduate program and its happenings this semester. I highlighted the fact that besides adding new classes to the cirriculum, a couple of students were doing research on social media and its effects on relationships.

Brochure- For Dr. Blankson's class, we had to design a brochure that corresponded to our organization of choice for Speech 313. I decided to write about questions parents may have before allowing their son to rush a fraternity, mainly Phi Kappa Psi.

News Release- My News Release highlighted Phi Kappa Psi's annual Friends Family and Alumni banquet in Edwardsville, Ill. I spoke about how various items would be up for auction as well as a dinner, dancing and cocktails to accompany the silent auction.

Media Advisory- With my media advisory, I let the media know that Phi Kappa Psi planned on holding a Greek Festival on the Greek Housing Quad in the fall.

Pitch Letter- In my pitch letter, I addressed the subject of hazing and alcohol abuse within Greek life on campus. I discussed how Greek Life Coordinator, John Davenport, holds seminars every semester to help educate newly intiated members on the dangers of such activities.

Feature Story- My feature story highlighted Phi Kappa Psi's president Danny Aschenbrenner's attempt at legitimatizing Greek Housing on SIUe's campus. It spoke of his childhood and his methods for helping housing become a reality.

PSA- For my PSA, I wrote a 30 second announcement that discussed a laser tag event that Phi Kappa Psi was throwing to provide a safe non alcoholic retreat for students who were bored of Edwardsville lack of social scene.
